This is a Near Mint rookie baseball card for 2-time All-Star Pitcher Dave "Rags" Righetti. Righetti was the 1981 American League Rookie of the Year and won the AL Rolaids Relief Award in 1986 and 1987. In his 16 year career he averaged 7.13 K's per 9 Innings Pitched, pitched in 718 games, had 252 Saves and finished 474 games. He is 2nd on the New York Yankees All-Time Games Pitched List (522) and All-Times Saves List (224) and Games Finished List (379). His 46 saves in 1986 was a Yankees single season record until broken by Mariano Rivera in 2001. His 68 games finished in 1986 was also a Yankees single season record until broken by Rivera in 2004.
